Pike Electric Corp. was given a $275 million contract for engineering, procurement and construction of 250 miles of 230-kilovolt transmission lines associated with the expansion of the V.C. Summer Nuclear Station in South Carolina.

Ten people have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Columbia on charges of business-related crimes. Eight of those charged were involved in a credit card fraud ring, said U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles.

The coordinator will be responsible for data collection, data entry and logging of all gifts received by the university.
