OK, we have all been there.....you walk through the door of the house........and there it is..........staring you in the face...........liver and onions or something like it.  You feel obligated to eat something, but you are not happy about it.

So, what is your preferred open house lunch?

For me it used to be BBQ and in this area that was the hot ticket for a while.  Serve BBQ and they will come.  Recently however I have changed my taste a little and am leaning more towards Greek salad and pasta of some sort.  It is easy to eat, easy to serve, and you don't have to use your hands (which for anyone who knows me will attest, I'm part germaphobe !

A great way to increase the turn out for an agent open house is to take a plate of what you are serving to the receptionist at each area Real Estate office prior to your luncheon. Agents will always ask where that came from and the receptionist will be more than happy to spread the word to all of their agents about your open house.

I just did a fully catered open house for the agents.  The last time I did one of these was 2005 and I averaged 80 people.  Today.... 25.
